They receive hundreds of applications a day. (and 99.9% don’t make it to a second look).
If they want you then they will get back to you if they don’t then they won’t.

You will need to give it at least a couple of weeks.

it depends on how many people are using them i would say 1-3 business days

They are one of the largest modeling agencies in the world so it may take some time if you do hear back. If they are interested they will contact you. You should be patient as getting into an agency can take years. In the mean time I would suggest sending your application to other agencies.

Ford only replies to successful applicants they either want to invite to their office or they want to send in additional pictures. Most people sending in pictures who are not model material will not be contacted by them. They generally try to respond within 2 weeks of receiving photos, though it can take up to 4 weeks if it’s a busy time, like during NY Fashion Week in September and February.

Ford are initially looking for someone who is extremely photogenic in the pictures they send — someone who looks amazing in an amateur picture with no makeup on. If you can look good there, you will look great when shot by a professional photographer and have a professional hair/makeup/styling team. But they also have to have a look that Ford’s clients are requesting, and they are convinced they can start booking on jobs right away. If you look like 8 other models already on their books, they probably won’t sign you even if you are tall and photogenic. If you look like a model who isn’t getting much work, they aren’t going to take a chance on you either.
