Today they called her back and they said they want her to sign a contract. Is this legit.? Can you look into it for me?

So this modeling agency I submitted to about 2 weeks ago wanted me to send a taped audition to their office, so I did. Now they want me to come in for an interview on either Feb 23 or Feb 24. The thing is, my parents won’t let me go until they see my report card which comes out in mid March. What do I tell the modeling agency? I feel bad because I know they are busy.
